The more the merrier on a run through the Black River Canyon. Meet at Hole Brothers where knowledgable guides will show everyone the lines down the river. Shuttle will be provided^* by the Hudson River Rafting Company. If you plan to race on Saturday afternoon, this will be your chance to learn the race lines and size up the competition. We've accepted the fact that rodeo is dead but with such a great surf spot, we couldn't help but throw a freestyle event anyway. Open to amateurs and pros alike, come out to compete with some of the best pool toy surfers around. We'll clear out Hole Brothers and our celebrity judges will crown this years champion of the floatee. Participation is at your own risk.

The King of New York race series begins with an endurance event down the Black River Canyon. The race will begin later in the day on Saturday to allow racers time to work out the lines. There will be a mass start above Knife's Edge rapid and racers will go over Glen Park Falls and speed to the finish line below the canyon in Brownsville. This is a pick-up sporting event.
